too the style is quite restrained for a wine that in the past has played more on textural richness and volume
showing a youthfully muscular character to the intense flavors of cranberry
(from a 2-ha parcel with a mix of 80% 75+ year old vines and the remainder of 15 to 20-year-old vines)
As is typically the case there is more volume and midpalate concentration to the focused medium-bodied flavors that are shaped by somewhat finer tannins on the lacy and impressively refined finale
There is excellent intensity to the solidly concentrated and relatively powerful middleweight flavors that also exude evident minerality on the compact
Littorai, Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir Pivot Vintage:2021 too the style is quiteLight, subtle nose. Then very rich array of red fruits on the palate, with a fresh, ferny finish. Still quite youthful but lots packed in there. (JR)
